Woods
On the northern coast of Lerr Island, the Uume Woodlands are quiet and mossy. Creeks and rivulets criss-cross through the emerald shade, and cool breezes find their way around the looming trees. It is common for travelers to land on the Uume shores and use the cover of these woods to make their way into Lerr's small towns unnoticed.
Not many call the Uume woods their home. Those who do are seeking the solitude that comes with darkness, eating fish from the river, and busying themselves with stewarding the many creatures found here. Once in a while, you'll spy a little round house sitting on the banks of an unnamed stream. This is a typical Lerrian architecture style that uses cakestone, a type of stone that cleaves in spherical shapes which is mined all over the island.
What sort of things can you expect to find in the Uume Woods? Woodland artifacts are distinguishable by their material, being made out of natural, decomposing things like bark, wood, twigs, and other elements you could find on the forest floor.
