Isle of Frith

I found some beautiful apple tree burls at an orchard in Spokane when visiting a friend this last fall. I didn't know what I would do with them, but this one spoke to me as I could see a little face peering out of the wood. I saw little houses balanced in funny ways, with beautiful water running down the face of an eerie, cat-like monster whose snarling face might move at some point.
